I made this video with Kurt Pellegrino when I was in New Jersey filming with him and his family. Some people find the video hilarious, and others don’t. I guess it depends if you are a Brock fan or not. There seems to be a clear division on the message boards about Brock…you either love him or hate him. Most of the hate stems from his after fight antics. Personally I feel that his behavior was a little uncalled for and his after fight interview was distasteful. I know that he apologized during the press conference, but who really watches that except the hardcore fans. The average viewer, who in most cases already thinks that MMA is a sport of meatheads, watched Brock display the kind of behavior that in my opinion hurts the sport. Yes, there are other fighters who trash talk and get the fans all riled up before the fight, but with Brock it was different.
MMA is a great sport and there are some amazing fighters out there who are trying to prove to people that this is a legitimate sport. Some of these fighters have college degrees, are well spoken, and are great role models. I feel like I have to explain this to people who are new to the sport because they just think that every fighter is a “stupid meathead caveman” (to quote my old roommate). I’m not saying Brock is stupid or a meathead in anyway, but his after fight antics (flicking off the fans that pay your salary, calling out Bud Light, and telling the fans you’re going to get on your wife) just reiterated to the general public what they already think about MMA. He has so much attention placed upon him and so many people are watching him, I can see why some fighters are worried about the image of MMA.
Do I think that Brock is an amazing athlete? Yes. Am I scared of Brock Lesnar? Hell Yeah!

There is a lot of polite stupid people whats a college degree got to do with anything.
One mans actions after a fight wont hurt mma a lot. meh
it might not hurt mma a lot but the fact that it did hurt mma is a reason why people dont like him i know i dont he is a great wrestler and he is very big and strong but i dont believe his is the most talented fighter he is not more talented mir or randy but he is just so dam big that it is hard for them to over come that and thats why i dont like him he is just a really big guy who can take u down and beat the f out of you and he is so cocky and a baby when he looses making excuses why he lost to mir oooo i gave it to him i gave it to him then freaks out when he beat mir being disrespectful and arrogant. ohh and funny video lol :)
'Man is just as big as what gets him mad.' Getting steamed up of a funny video like that? I hope those Brock-fans didn't upset you. In that case I'm more scared of Brocks fans than himself because he is just playing a character, but taking it one step ahead compared to the old Tito who did a lot to make MMA mainstream. Lesnars next fight should make a great reaction because his supporters will be as loud as those who want to see him lose. I think he's a deoucebag but i've found almost everything he's done so far entertaining.
I like Lesnar and don't see him getting beat soon. we don't really want 200 UFC fighters to be all polite boys with College Degrees thats boring. Just look towards Dana for the image of MMA. He attacks people and says f**k every couple of words.
